Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mom perform. Silk was featured in many commercials as a young child. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to progress, and then moved she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is famous for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk revealed to fans the joyous information that she was pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to the series. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
