Tessa Thompson
The actor Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter granddaughter of the famous singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as well as the actor Bobby Ramos. She grew up within Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father has Afro-Panamanian heritage and her mother of Mexican as well as British Isles heritage. Thompson studied at Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. Thompson enrolled at Santa Monica College after graduation and earned a cultural Anthropology degree. In a performance at Pasadena's Boston Court Theatre, she performed the role of Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". The show's performance was a big hit and was rewarded with an NAACP Theatre nomination the same year. Apart from the stage, In 2005, Tessa was the first TV appearance on the CBS television series
